On the Fence Home

Have you ever seen a picture or a photograph showing only one big house standing right in the middle of a farm? The picture surely seems to be beautiful. Every one of us dreams of owning such a beautiful house. But there will also be one more thing in that picture that many of us seem to ignore by mistake. That thing is the fencing. The fencing around the house will show the area that belongs to the house. A house just cannot be there without ant boundary defined. Thus without this fencing the picture is incomplete. Now, talking about the real life everywhere you go there has to be a limit for everything. Anything that starts has to end somewhere. When you go to purchase a piece of land, after the purchase you put some kind of a mark to show the area of land that you own. Later you can erect a fence surrounding the area under your ownership. Thus the area of land that you can use lies under the boundary of that fence and you just cannot use the area out of the boundary. Thus, fences are a small thing that is not even considered important but actually they are as important as the plot itself. In cities, we are not much familiar with fencings and their types. Instead we know a better part of it known as a wall. In cities wherever we want to divide the area we build a wall. Thus, a wall is an extended structure of a fence. But do we actually know what a fence is made up of and what it is worth of? Let us find it out here.

Fencing

In cities there is hardly any place to define the area that you own. But in the outskirts of a city or in the rural areas where there is ample space for farming you will find that the houses are situated in between or at a corner of a farm and the entire area consisting of the house and the farm together is surrounded by a fence. A fence can thus be said to be a factor that limits the area under our ownership. Technically, a fence is a vertical structure restricting the movements across a boundary. A wall is similar in its function to a fence, just that the physical structures of the two differ immensely. The basic use of the two is the same, which is, defining boundary.

Reasons for Fencing

As defined above a fence defines the area under your ownership and also restricts the entry of anyone than inside your property. A wall is a type of fencing but is physically distinguished. There are a few factors that act as the purposes for constructing a fence around anything.

Agricultural Fencing: This type of fencing is constructed to mar the agricultural land under ones ownership and also to protect the animals and cattle from predators p=outside.

Privacy Fencing: Privacy fencing is purely constructed to provide privacy.

Security Fencing: Security fencing is, as the name suggests constructed with a view to provide security to the people and other things inside the fence.

Decorative Fencing: Decorative fencing is constructed to give your property such as a garden a decorative appeal. Local florists such as Flowers for Everyone can suggest the best plants and flowers to make your fence look more decorative.
